This street was a fairly interesting street. There was a lot of small businesses. There was Robinson’s store right behind us here. There always was the Perley Block here. He was a Senator during the First World War in the parliament of Canada. – Greg Chatterson

One of the local guys was an old stonemason. He was never actually a registered stonemason, but had learned it off his parents. One of the old people that could do anything; work with metal, wood, stone, knew where to look for clean sand. – Greg Chatterson
