Farmer’s Market
Our market’s been run for over going on 64 years now. So there are a lot of stories of vendors who have passed on and aren’t with us anymore. And if you go in and talk to some of the other vendors there’s funny little stories. – Leslie Merrel
Market Attendant
I get all the doors unlocked, the lights turned on to allow the vendors inside to do their thing. Get set up. And after that I put up the barricades, all the trash receptacles, and stuff. – Dwayne
Working for Dad
Gus, he was going to college and I told him I said, , I can’t do this by myself”. So he had to make a choice between the store and college.” – Johnny and Gus Mazucca
Hartt Boot and Shoe Factory
We repaired shoes. Men’s shoes. Lady’s shoes. And we also worked at wholesale. I was a secretary there for 18 years. And I had to do all the book keeping and do all the wholesale. – Violette Este
In the Summer, There’s New Life
In the summer, there’s a program that moms can get together. And just talk about if you have problems. Kind of like a support group, which is good. – Cindy Sonier
